It was...

...91 degrees here yesterday. Isn't it still snowing in some of the places that you fine folks reside? I freaking hate the desert.

I hate Microsoft...

So I spent a couple of hours last night trying to sign into XBOX live for the first time in over a year. I decided to create a new account since I hated my old gamertag and spent the time entering all of the stupid info they need using my damn controller. After that, it tells me, XBOX live is not responding. WTF?! So I back out of everything, lose my settings and check to see if I'm connecting. Yup, things are all looking good. So I go back in there and re-enter all of my information. Still nothing. So I decide, what the hell, I'll just use my old account and reactivate it. No joy. So I call Microsoft and some jackass who doesn't really speak English "tries" to help me out by asking me questions that don't seem to resolve my situation. Then he says he needs to place me on hold to look up some information. After about 20 minutes, the line goes dead. I look at my clock and notice that it's 10PM - quitting time for them. So the fucker put me on hold so he didn't have to deal with me and hung up on me at quitting time. Asshat. I'm going to call back today and see if I can bitch enough to get me something for free. If that doesn't work, I'm buying myself a Mac with my next laptop purchase. I'm sure the one less sale of Windows Vista and Office will really screw them. Fuckers. Hell, I may even opt against getting an XBOX 360 and go with a PS3. Whoa, looks like I'm talking loco now. Better reign it in.

I'm pissed.

So Vegas...

...is quite the town to go out in but less so when you live here. I had my first wave of friends roll into town this weekend and so much happened that I still barely have the strength to type about it. In any event, here are some pictures...

Letting images do the talking that my fingers cannot.

We bascially hit a few different casinos, including a couple downtown (I hight recommend against it) and went to a few clubs like Tangerine and Mist over at TI. The highlight of the weekend was the two hour gorging we undertook at the seafood buffet over at The Rio. I'm surprised I didn't contract any norovirus into my system. In the end, everyone had a good time and I'm still tired 3 days later. It must have been a good time.
